cocoa & coffee rub for steak or filet

  • 2 steaks or other cuts of choice (filet is pictured)

  • 1 tsp ground coriander

  • 1 tsp ground coffee

  • 1 tsp brown sugar

  • 1 tsp cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

  • 4 tbsp olive oil


Combine coriander, salt, coffee, sugar, cocoa, cinnamon and pepper. Coat meat in olive oil and then the seasoning.

Fry, roast or grill meat according to your liking.

Optional: serve with potato salad (acidity in salad pairs nicely with the spices in this rub) and roast veggies of choice.
